Owen: Goodbye Manchester United

Michael Owen's contract not renewed at the end of the season Manchester United.

Michael Owen's career seems to be getting dull. Manchester United striker's contract was extended by the Red Devils.

Owen who is now aged 32 years, only appearing as a starter in three games this season. Former Liverpool and England striker was only scored three goals, all of which were created in the League Cup.

Since joining from Newcastle in the summer of 2009/10, Owen is rarely revealed. Even during the three grazing seasons at Old Trafford, Owen had only appeared since the early minutes in six Premier League matches.

"Manager told me after a testimonial match on Tuesday, when the club never offered me a new contract. I loved every minute I spent 3 years with the club is fantastic," said Owen on the Twitter account @ themichaelowen.

"Now I plan to vacation in a short time where I will contemplate the next plan."

Owen is difficult to penetrate their central position in the presence of Dimitar Berbatov and Wayne Rooney.
