Antonis Samaras, the Greek New PM

Athens: Antonis Samaras took office as prime minister of Greece. Inauguration or the Greek Orthodox ceremony was held in Athens on Wednesday, June 20.

Reported on the BBC website which is a leader Antonis Samaras New Democracy party, has won the elections held on Sunday. In government, the party leaders would cooperate with the Socialists (PASOK) and left-wing Democratic Party. In the inauguration ceremony, Samaras promised his government would try to overcome the economic crisis that has shaken the European zone.

"Tomorrow I will ask for the establishment of a new cabinet, we will work hard so as to give hope to our people," Samaras said.
