Shinji Kagawa's successor at Manchester United Number 7

Players from the country of Japan, Shinji Kagawa finally officially landed at Manchester United after a transfer from Borussia Dortmund bundesliga champions at a price of 12 million pounds, or about Rp168 billion.

Kagawa was the first Japanese player dressed in the Red Devils. Earlier, South Korean player Park Ji Sung has been first played for the club that won the Premier League 19 times this.

"Manchester United is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement between Borussia Dortmund and Shinji Kagawa to transfer to the club. Deal is just waiting for medical test players and work permits in the United Kingdom which will be completed by the end of June," said a statement from the club on Wednesday (6/6).

Not only that, the arrival of the Samurai team attackers also get a comment from United defender, Rio Ferdinand through Twitter account (@ rioferdy5).

"Welcome to Shinji Kagawa for his transfer to Man Utd. Heres to a succesful time here bro," he wrote yesterday (5/6).

Reportedly, if Kagawa back will wear the number 7. Thus, Kagawa will be the successor to the back number 7 at Manchester United after the era of Cantona, Beckham, Ronaldo, and Owen.

So the question now, whether Kagawa will be successful as their predecessors. We'll see next season.
