Russia: Iran's Nuclear Rights, Do not be hindered

Russian Ambassador to Iran, Levan Dzhagaryan states, tensions regarding Iran's nuclear energy program is not an issue in the upcoming talks between Iran and the 5 +1 group in Iraq.

In an exclusive interview with Fars News Agency on Sunday (13/5), Dzhagaryan stressed that Tehran has the absolute right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, and nothing can stop him.

"Russia hopes that both sides will reach an understanding in Baghdad, and move toward solutions to concerns about Iran's nuclear energy program and build mutual trust," he said.

The last round of talks between Iran and the 5 +1 group was held in Istanbul Turkey on 14 April. Both sides assess constructive talks and agreed to hold next round in Baghdad on May 23, 2012.
