Obama Agree to gay marriage

In 2012 a fortune for the same sex in the United States. President Barack Obama, on Thursday, May 9, 2012, approved the marriage of the same sex.

"It's important for me to keep going and make sure that I kind of think the couple should be married," Obama said in an interview with ABC television station in the show Good Morning America.

Obama added that his two daughters, Malia and Sasha, have a friend whose parents are the kind of partner. "Several times I and Michelle sitting at the table and we talked about their friends and their parents," said the descendant of Kenya's president.

According to him, very strange if the parents their children's friends are treated differently. "That's what makes my perspective changes," said the man was a graduate of law from the University of Chicago.

Obama's statement makes it the first American President who expressed support for gay marriage. The comment immediately received a positive response from Democrats, support groups and supporters of gay civil rights in America.

"This is a great turning point in American civil rights history," said New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, one of the cities in America that support same-sex marriage.
